Neighbors InDeed's
Information & Referral service is the gateway to
all Neighbors InDeed programs. Volunteers answer calls from
Sun City Lincoln Hills residents from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday
through
Saturday, responding to requests for Neighbors InDeed's direct services
as well as providing information about local resources that
range from health care agencies, to plumbers, to transportation and
many, many
more.

Handy
Helpers
Handy Helpers are skilled
volunteers who assist residents in Sun City
Lincoln Hills who need help with home-related tasks such as
replacing smoke detector batteries, furnace filters, light bulbs,
programming
sprinkler systems and much more. They can evaluate a problem
to determine whether a Handy Helper can help or whether professional
assistance is needed. Assistance with errands,
shopping and minor household chores is also available to those
who
are unable to perform these tasks. While not an "emergency" service, a
Handy Helper will contact the resident requesting service within at
least 24 hours.

Medical Equipment Loan Program
Under this program
residents are able borrow canes, crutches, walkers, non-electric
wheelchairs, or transport chairs at no cost for a period of up to three
weeks for
their own use or that of their visitors. Personal equipment and
electric
equipment are not available under this program. Equipment is delivered
to residents and picked up within the three week loan period. This
program offers both newly purchased and gently used donated equipment.
